RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Interesting suggestion! A tie does us no good

I think a tie does you some good in the first round as I would much rather play Brown or Dartmouth than Clarkson. Assuming you u get past that round, and there are no other upsets, you might prefer to play Colgate or Union more so....I'd go for the win and just see where destiny takes you

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

So, if RPI finishes 5th and beats Clarkson next week, they would play Colgate the following week. And if they won that series, assuming no other upsets, they would play Yale in the semis.

If RPI finishes 6th and beats whomever next week, they would play Union the following week and then again, assuming no other upsets, would play Cornell in the semis.

...

That's a lot of assumptions. ;)

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Horrible call by the refs-RPI getting a penalty for too many men-Penalty number 8-Kotyra makes sure we do not win this one

Finish 6th, you get Brown!

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Not that we would have won-but it would have been nice to play in the Cornell zone with an extra man for a while. As usual, Kotyra finds a way to influence our game. No wonder we are 4-21-4 in the most recent games he has reffed

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

TIE.

1-1 in Ithaca.

Not saying that the Engineers were going to win, but that's just complete lack of awareness. (I still hate refs)

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Game ends 1-1. Not the worst finish. We get Brown next week and then Union.
York is back in form, so we have a chance against anyone.
Too bad the PK wasn't in the same form last night as they were tonight.

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Interestingly we go 2-1-1 against the top 2 teams in the ECAC and still only finish 6th

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Kingston - Kevin Christmas (powerplay) (Tyler Melancon, Brock Higgs) 11:23

His third point.
