RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

JD'A misses (yet another) wide-open net during the 5v4 power play. Allen makes a big stop on a shortie chance for the (other) Red.

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Nothing new with that. He has been doing it most of the season.
I haven't been paying attention to the lineups for the 5v3 PP units, but 5v4 is never 5 forwards. Usually includes Bergin or Foss as a point man. Also included Brut as a point man, before he got converted to a forward. Now, he's more of a half-boards man.

I'm watching two Cornell fans argue right in front of me, and I gotta say, it's pretty amusing. :D :D

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Lots of up-and-down play. Some big hits, too. Man, I wish I was in Ithaca for this game.

Re: RPI @ Cornell - 2/27/10

Not good that RPI didn't capitalize on a 5 v 3 - Cornell doesn't give many opportunities for scoring chances, need to take advantage of those

5 on 3's have been a big story for us this year-the opponents almost always scoring and we do not:(
