RPI @ Colgate (Friday, 24 February 2012)

Re: RPI @ Colgate (Friday, 24 February 2012)

Thank you Time Warner for airing that game - AMAZING! 51 shots for Colgate?? Diebold DEFINITELY player of the game.
MANY of the save were highlight reel quality!! Hope the boys carry the momentum into tomorrow night!
No momentum please going into Ithaca, thank you

Re: RPI @ Colgate (Friday, 24 February 2012)

Got back a few minutes ago, and a few thoughts:

1. That is the 65 minute game I've been looking for, even if we didn't need the last 5. Not a single shift was taken off; we played from start to finish.
2. As I said on the pick'em thread, turnabout is fair play. This exact thing, in fact with almost the same placements in rank, happened last year, only with the teams reversed.
3. Scott Diebold stood on his noggin the WHOLE NIGHT, and this time the defence REALLY did well to help him out. There were a few times where Colgate had a good 2 minutes in our zone, our defence was blocking shots, Diebold was coming up with some clear highway robbery saves (including a clean break).

Sorry for the lack of game resets, as I was at the game. Although, in case anyone was wondering, the one penalty with the SHG would have been noted as such: (:D:))
