The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Well, that was butt ugly. Shutout by a team who has given up more goals than anyone in the league.
SLU clinched 4th with their win tonight. We could finish anywhere between 5th and 8th as all 4 teams are separated by 1 point in the standings.
The way we played against Princeton, Brown and Colgate recently it is not hard to envision that we can lose a first round encounter with either. The powerplay and defensive coverage hasn't improved. If anything we have regressed. Very, very disappointing.

I find the same thing. That and of course losing important face offs has been responsible for much of the difficulties we create. This is still a good team with some very serious weaknesses. It is very late int he season to make major adjustments but when you have defensive weakness and lapses, you have to switch some things around. One might look to the defensive pairings and make some changes.
