RPI @ Colgate 2/21/15

Re: RPI @ Colgate 2/21/15

RPI cannot lose both games this weekend.

How do you define "lost weekend?"

1 out of 4 points and poor play? They need a minimum 2 points per weekend on these roadies...am I missing something? Should they get the "ECAC Good Try" trophy for this week?

Re: RPI @ Colgate 2/21/15

Truly a sad state of affairs when you pull your goalie and cannot even keep the puck in the offensive zone long enough to get any chances. This season reached it's high point with the Cornell/Colgate wins at home. It should have ended right there. This third period should have been played with absolute desperation and it just felt like we were playing out the string. Next weekend is now virtually meaningless and our stellar record in the playoffs the past 8 years does not bode well.

It will be interesting to hear the silver lining that our coach finds about this weekend. We gave one away yesterday and we should not be as close as we are tonight. Kenny G may well be the best player on the ice for us tonight as at least he is shooting and moving the puck up ice.

The silver lining is that SA has another 6 seasons on his contract and he is laughing to the bank.

Doc - I was going to comment on their lack of desperation....pathetic! They are out there tooling around like they have a top-4 spot all wrapped up....pathetic!
