RPI @ Clarkson - Saturday, February 9th

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - Saturday, February 9th

Unfortuantely we dug ourselves quite a hole early this season-even if we win virtually every game now, can we move up in the PWR ratings enough to be in the top 15?

Flipped about a half dozen comparisons already, all we can really do is keep boosting our RPI and common opponents stats. Most of the teams ahead of us we do not see before the end of the season.

The hound is fine...sitting here watching the Leafs kick the Habs...thinking about TBones...haha...where is that old piece of dog food...

You and Jenny fine?

I am a new improved version after some major eye surgery. Now i can see what i am drinking. Jenny is as always, well dressed, furs and jewels and still smokin' hot. Really miss you guys. Hope all is well for the entire family. Princeton games are not the same without you and Mrs Hound.

Yes, but the team needs to perform well in the conference playoffs.

This is some serious baby making music WRPI is playing right now.

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - Saturday, February 9th

As WaP has posted, we have allowed 6 goals in a period this year. (Union)

I do not know which was worse-that one or the 14-0 Northeastern hung on us? i do know that when i travelled to BU that year and we lost 9-0 I thought nothing could be more one sided.

I sat through a 10-0 shellacking at the hands of Harvard in Allston during the late '80s. Unfortunately I went with a co-worker that was a Harvard alum. It was painful to say the least.

I think the only team that we face that matters much is Yale. Of course we need to win out-cannot afford losses to anyone. But i could not find a way for us to move up too far and it sure looks like we have to win in AC to have any shot at an NCAA bid.

I was at that game too! Most painful game I ever sat through. But I thought it was 11-0. Whatever...

I don't know why she hangs around with an old dog like you...

Good that you can see what you are sipping...the glass must be looking half full the last couple weeks...even if a full glass is not your strength...

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - Saturday, February 9th

Absolutely we can. If we win the rest of our ECAC games (regular season), we rise to #12. Got to this link and hit customize to try it: http://www.collegehockeynews.com/ratings/ncaapwcr.php#

Thanks JM-I just could not figure out how we got above #15. I half joked a week ago that we were going to win out the regular season-I may not be far off. But we have to stay healthy.

We still have to win tonight. Who knows what CCT will do when they come out.

I was at both the shellackings at Cheel that Kurt Stutt mentioned, 7-1 and 11-0, late 1990's. Thank god for Jim Beam after those 2 games.
