I think everyone expected RPI to pass it up to the point. Instead the player just sort of swept a shot in from the corner. The shot was practically lateral to the goal - no RPI player near the crease - just a tough deflection.

BTW, in case anyone was wondering why I keep adding the time instead of resetting after each period, it's old habits from keeping stats for my high school's soccer team. :o

Wow - a very dangerous steal. RPI picked a Clarkson player's pocket right in front of the net. Two RPI players standing alone point blank. Karpowitz up to it though.

Clarkson player had an open net from ten feet out on a rebound at about 8:30. Fortunately an RPI defender was there to ride him off and break up the shot.

On the other end, Laliberte had a great look from inside the face-off circle. Shot didn't go.
