RPI @Clarkson - Game Two 3/7/15

Re: RPI @Clarkson - Game Two 3/7/15

Maybe you should buy some tickets in the front row, and if the refs get out of hand, have Jenny stand up and start waving that fiery Italian pointer finger at them....then they'll think twice ;)

Age has mellowed both of us. But there was a time I did have to pull her back from going after Mike Noeth at HFH as he left the ice. I really do not ask much from the officials. Just call it consistently and use equal judgement for both teams. I always figure they are doing a great job when I do not even notice they are on the ice. If we lose by playing poorly, then so be it. If we lose because the opponents played better than we did, that's fine. But when we lose because of a spurious call or a job poorly done by a linesman, that i have a problem with. This year has seen some highly questionable calls and I find it odd that in almost every game we have been called for more penalties than the opponent. Lack of discipline can account for some of it, but the numbers are just staggering.

Whittemore & Lynch were the 2 refs last night for Cornell/#26. Knapp & Taggart were the 2 Linesmen in our game last night.

And did not one of those linesmen make himself noticed in the last 3 minutes with a penalty call?

There was an ECAC ref who used to call penalties to give himself a breather on the ice.

The two women's games at Cheel are over. So we won't have to worry about them delaying our start. One went to OT but only 2:39 extra.

Edit: Oops. FD posted this already. :o

WRPI has been off the air for me the past few hours. What time will they start to broadcast?

Thanks Dude. I thought they had programming most of Saturday as a rule.

Brown has come out firing. Leads 1-0 2:30 into the game.
Harvard has tied it at 1 all. Other games still scoreless.

Appears you can replace the '720' in the video URL with '480' '360' '240' or '160' if you want/need a lower-quality stream.

I'm liking the pregame music on the video feed. Let's Go Red!

If you want, you can also put in "preview" if you want to have to reload every 90 seconds :D
