If I'm not mistaken (big IF), Clarkson has not won the first game of an ECAC playoff series in 7 years. Last time was 2008 1/4 finals, we beat Colgate in the first game but lost the series 2-1. Last time we won the first game and won the series was 8 years ago in 2007, beat Harvard 2-0 games in the 1/4 finals, and went on to win the tournament.
