Just got home-broke a cardinal rule and listened while driving. Great win for the boys. I just kept waiting for the other shoe to drop though as we seem to be just miserable at protecting a lead. Credit to the entire team that simply did what was necessary. We needed to score early and get a large neough lead to take some steam out of the game and we did. next week presents a completely different problem. We matched up far better with CCT than we do with SLU which is a team that plays up tempo and can actually score with a very potent power play.
But it feels just great to still be playing for another weekend.

Got in in time to hear the last half of the third period. Can't believe that they couldn't score with over five minutes with an empty net.
No matter, we won the game, and that is why we played.
Bring on SLU.

Given about 18 seconds of it was on the PK, that should explain why.
