Looking forward to tonight's game.
The team just has to stay focused and play like they have on the road since January.
Good goaltending, good team defense and timely scoring. Sounds easy doesn't it?

Hopefully the team is pumped up and treats this contest as an actual playoff battle against a big rival and doesnt approach it as "just another game" or it could end up being a disappointing evening. Id like to see an early goal to take the crowd out of the game and keep the penalties to a minimum. Go get'em Red.
Anyone know if Clarkson still uses that train bell?

I am not sure of whether or not it is a good idea to treat the game as "just another game". They treated the BRF! and Senior Night as special, and look what happened.

But on the other hand, some will turn it into pressure. As SA has said many times over the course of this season, this team plays with a lot of immaturity. So how DO they treat it?......I don't know

Being the playoffs gives the players all the more reason to "play your game". They've seen what sort of success comes from playing their game. Even in the face of adversity, sticking to a game plan is all that is needed.

Thanks, Ralph...I kind of figured it would be...usually the Times Union is pretty good about making last minute announcements of TW-3 picking up games, but haven't seen anything on their site. Was hoping I would considering Union is idle this weekend.

I may need some extra meds today-Jenny and I just got back from our accountant having finished our taxes, the corporate taxes, the pension plan taxes, and the profit sharing plan taxes. The only thing that can brighten our spirits would be an increibly good performance by our boys tonight.

Doc, this is probably of little consolation, yet my spouse does offer it to me in the way of consolation when we finish our tax returns, which is that it is better to have enough income that you need to pay tax on it than the converse.....
