PUCKMAN RULES!!!
Re: RPI @ Clarkson, Friday, 1/31/2014
End of two, and we are in a big hole. Can't score if you don't hit the net.

Would you have expected anything less?

We have not had a lot of finishers on this team-and the one we do have won't be back until tomorrow. i suspect tomorrow we might see a very determined and angry RPI team trying to get back on track.
The dreaded second period lives up to its reputation. Down now 3-0 and still short one man starting the third. Credit to the boys out there-creating some chances and no one has thrown in the towel. Penalties have not helped-almost nothing called on CCT and enough called on us to keep us short handed for a fairly good stretch of time.

we can only hope.
Don't get down yet. This team is just biding time. We are going to sweep through the playoffs and get to Lake Placid and win it all. (The valium/Vicodin combination has kicked in fully a few minutes ago)![]()
This is the theme all year unfortunately. We are number three in penalty minutes per game and this game might move us closer to the top.
Isn't there a law against self-medication?
I was in my second year of Medical School-came back for almost every game since I was just across the river in Albany. That Colgate game was pretty well attended and the crowd was just ugly. I have been looking back though all my programs to see who the ref was(totally lost control of that game early) but here in NJ I do not go back that far with my memorabilia. The older stuff is upstate NY.

IIRC, back then two officials worked college games, each serving in dual capacity as referee and linesman.
One of the referees was Giles Threadgold, but I can't remember who the other one was.
