The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
We will have to find out how to keep the slot clear - last night SLU just was able to get too many clear shots at goal from 8-12 feet out either directly in center or just off at a slight angle. SLU also seemed to be able to throw the puck into our zone and get a forward or two in deep who was able to throw the puck out the point for clean shots from there looking for deflections. If CCT is allowed to do much of that we are in for a a very difficult evening. We have excellent goal tending and speedy forwards but if we dont tighten up on defense we will have a whole lot more trouble than Union did last night and they lost 5-2
We do need to shore up the defense, but we also need to put the puck in the net.
We had many chances last night with no success. Too many posts. And at least two breakaways with no goals.
Clarkson will be a much tougher opponent.
Lets go RED!!!!!!!!!!!
RPI scored the only TD of the second half to win 14-10 it was has to be considered a surprise. This should clinch the Liberty league title and an automatic bid into the first round of the Division III NCAA tournament. Doubt we will get to host a game but congrats to the boys!!!!!!!!!!
