First period demonstrates what happens when you have a team with a very good line playing against a team that has trouble finishing and a defense that is just not aggressive enough to keep them away. Taking two penalties that really were not necessary certainly did not help. Out shot badly, face offs? Not even close. Perry let in a really soft one and then the defense just let one walk right in on him for an uncontested shot. Let's see what sort of changes can be made to stop this onslaught which is just a mismatch right now. Nothing going right so far.

We were outplayed in every facet of the game.
The only change that might work is upping the compete level. We spent a lot of time watching Clarkson. No fore check at all and no pressure on defense. Just bad period.

We seem WAY too much on edge. Gotta simmer down and focus out there.
