RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

WRPI's announcer sounded genuinely surprised that he's doing the call alone tonight. :D

Has WRPI always only sent one commentator to away games? Could've sworn they used to have two.

(I'll be here for twenty minutes or so, then I'm out of here to watch UW play UAA here in Madison. Not going to lie... I'm more interested in what happens in Potsdam tonight. How often do I say that?)

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

All of RPI's recruits are playing this evening (well, not Greg Burgdoerfer, of course). Hopefully, there will be a lot to report on.

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

Is anyone else getting annoying blips in the audio about once a second? It's happening on all the stream qualities for me.

Sounds fine here, although I'm on the lowest quality. (And also on UW's school network, which is generally pretty good.)

Reading between the lines-the injuries to CJ Lee sound like more than first thought. He will be out for Niagara definitely and "hopefully" back for the tournament. We will miss him.

It did sound like it.

BTW, York is in goalie for RPI.

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

WRPI stream is just fine.

Tim doesn't usually fly solo, unless it's a really long trip. Perhaps the color commentators didn't want to have Tim post bail for them. :P

GoDanGo, do you need me to send you updates?

I figured that was the reason when he was solo in Alaska, which is why I was surprised he was alone tonight.

Funny, more of the crowd sings along to "O Canada" in Potsdam than in Troy. Go figure. And I heard at least a couple of people shouting red... glad we have some support up there.

Flagdude, I signed up for the end-of-the-game texts from RPI, so I think that'll cover me. Thanks for the offer though. (I have to pay per text, so I should probably try to keep those down a bit.)

The band is there, so of course people will yell red.

And what's wrong with singing along to O Canada? I sing along with both. Granted in English for both.
