RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

Matching penalties-RPI number 10 and Clarkson number 7-should mean nothing of course

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

Put it in the books. RPI takes this one 5-2. :D :D :D

First time we opened the ECAC season 3-0 since 94-95, if my earlier research is correct.

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

A nice win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!5-2 and this team is just so different from what we saw the last 3 years.

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

RPI goes 3 and 0 in the ECAC.
Nice come back after Clarkson tied it and York held up his end in the third period.
This team is looking good. :D

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

RPI has now equaled their regular season win total from last year with their 7th victory tonight.

RPI is now three wins away from equaling their complete win total from last season.

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

Not the prettiest win I've ever seen. But when RPI, down three of their regular forwards, finds a way to win by three goals, against a team undefeated at home, in a rink that hasn't seen an RPI victory in nearly five years...something's definitely going right.

Also, nice to see the scoring spread around between five RPI players. 10 players hit the scoresheet. And kudos to AAG for picking up 3 assists on RPI's first 3 goals.

Last time the Engineers won their first three league games, they won something shiny in March.

Holy Tamburro, Batman! Did you say a Sagie on each arm? :D

Just back from a dinner in Lake George... the game ended before I could drive back/listen on werpi. We may not fly under the radar for much longer...

Re: RPI @ Clarkson - 11/13/09

Could anyone have imagined a 3-0 start...with a good chance to go 4 not

You have one of the best young coaches in America who is now getting a majority of the players he recruited on the ice after 3 years of hard work.

I am not surprised at the hot start. RPI now has some highly coveted players, and talent, when working hard, makes the difference.

...And when was the last time we had 300 (or more) posts on an RPI game thread? Winning bring out the best in everyone... having said that, there is this unfinished business waiting for us tomorrow in Canton. Let's go to twon and get another win. Let's go, RED!
