RPI @ Canisius, Friday, 10/11/24

Just checking in. 14 SOG for Canisius in 1st period? Did our renewed interest in playing team defense end after one exhibition game? This reads like a flashback to last year.
 
Final from Syracuse girls win 2-1 with 2 power play goals in the third. Back to Troy for tomorrow and will try for the sweep. Syracuse is certainly not Colgate or Clarkson but nice to see this team only giving up 1 goal per game at this stage.
 
RPI has defended all 3 power plays against. Scored on 1 of 2 of their own. Scored a 4 on 4 goal. Winning a great percentage of the face offs. Now has 4 goals in 2 periods. Are we now entering the Twilight Zone or have we gone to the Outer Limits????

Hard to really know what to expect - need to see this team play so will have to wait until they are being covered by media I can actually watch. Our local pub only gets ESPN+ and if many others there want to watch something else, hockey gets switched off. Was very surprised tonight to see the Girls hockey on a free stream from Syracuse. it was not listed anywhere but was actually quite a good production.
