I wonder when WRPI is switching to Boston.
I wonder when WRPI is switching to Boston.
Shouldn't we be getting hockey music by now?
The game isn't beginning until 7:35.![]()
Makes me wonder if they're televising the game.
OK Doc, give us the medical possibilities of a second dislocated shoulder??
CBS Sports network has game time listed as 7:40
That channel has North Dakota -- Miami.
This was by far the most likely scenario. A lot depends on the degree of dislocation. So much depends on the integrity of the should joint-the tendons and ligaments that virtually encapsulate it. Perhaps the hardest joint to rehab. i have had 2 shoulder surgeries and both eventually were fine. Both needed some rehab and i was back and functioning within 3-4 weeks the first time and 2 months the second(a far worse rotator cuff injury). however-it all depends on the activity you are going back to. A goalie is not asked to do the same actions as a major league pitcher. Most times-pitchers can recover fully from Tommy John elbow surgery(albeit taking 18 months of rehab) but rarely does a star pitcher regain any of the form, strength and control with a shoulder injury. Think Mark Mulder of the Cardinals or Pedro Martinez of the Mets. I just do not know how important the shoulder is for a goalie. That is for the experts at Albany Medical orthopedic department. One thing for certain-if this shoulder comes out this easily and this frequently-it is apt to happen again and I am sure his parent club Winnepeg is even more interested than we are.
BTW all the early reports of fracture and whatever else was suspected was just hearsay-and we should learn to ignore these prelimary reports until we have something definite.
