This one I should be here for from the beginning. We played pretty even last night and if not for being down 2 men for that time in the third period perhaps could have had a better result. Still not a bad showing for a young team that has 4 major injuries. Today again will have to avoid all those penalties-this could get rough. Let's Go Red!!

Heading down in about 45 minutes or so. I expect this one to be physical. I'll be shocked if we see only 10 minutes per team of penalties tonight. You never can be sure but I expect to see lots of time on the PP and PK tonight. Let's go Red.

Harry Z. will rack that up on his own, no worries.

Yale is a very good hockey team. Very fast very good passing, not sure about their defense, they did not have to play very much in their end last night. I was very happy with the way we played. If we could have pressed the play a little more, I think we could have had a different result.
Why are we (RPI/Brown) playing an afternoon game after a night game, while Yale/Union get a day off?:(

This is a good question. I was looking forward to catching the women's game at HFH then listening to the men before I remembered that both are playing at 4pm.

Odd but I never used to mind early games when we were there in person. Would be great to go out to dinner after. Now I prefer the later start times when we are home and listening on the internet. i expect a much different game from last night-we need to match Brown's aggressive play but as usual we cannot afford to be taking penalties to get 2 men down. 5 on 3 has been our downfall for some time now.

I guess it was the RPI offenses fault that they were 0-5 on the PP last night. :confused:Yales forechecking was certainly a factor during the game, including one PP where RPI did not get the puck out of their own zone. Wish your game was on tv today, it's gonna be a good one.

You could always listen on wrpi.org if you'd like.

In speaking of WRPI, Tim's on the call by himself today.

You misunderstand me. I was very impressed with Yale and I for one think they belong in the top three in the country. My comment about their defense is that the offense leaves little to do.
They played very well and deserved the win. The really good teams find a way to win the games they are supposed to win, and that is what Yale did last night.
We will be ready for them in Troy.
