Nice first period-only negative-taking 3 penalties. We cannot afford to be short handed for 6 minutes per period against anyone. Nice start however as the first period has been a problem for us much of this year.

Great play started and finished by Rogic. Went in 2-on-3 with Polacek, got the puck deep, hustled hard on the forecheck to lift a stick and allow Polacek to get the loose puck back to Bergin. Beautiful fake from Bergin over to Foss for the one timer and Foss did a great job of keeping it low for the cutting Rogic to tip in right out front.

Congrats to Rogic! Make my Black Saturday jersey proud!

Also, looks like I got my RPI Pick to Click picks reversed =(.

Women scoreless after one.

Tinordis going to the box for boarding....behind the play

Someone is going to have to give me the definition of boarding. Last night and today, players are being called for checking. Are you not allowed to hit at all anymore?
I am all for protecting the players, but they are calling penalties for good clean checks against all teams.

Women completely dominant through one period - playing with just 3 normal defensemen as Daniels (concussion suffered at Syracuse) and Castignetti (sprained neck yesterday) are both out injured. Jakubowski playing back on D today. Two shots rung off the pipe behind Union netminder in the final 3 minutes of the period.

Do you know why Letuligasenoa isn't playing D?

Brown Hockey has a deep history of success? I don't recall anything but a few good seasons over the years.

Last year we couldnt buy a call to protect our players

Not sure, we've been dressing 5D and 13F all season with Letuligasenoa or Mankey listed as an extra forward most games. Nona is listed as D on the roster which is odd. Jakubowski recruited to play D, listed as F/D, so no surprise she's playing back today.
