RPI at Princeton, 2/16/18

As far as I can tell, I'm the only USCHO poster who has declared an intention to attend this game, so I may as well start the thread.

RPI has played well against really good teams this year. They've played five games against teams in the top six of the current USCHO rankings, and were no worse than tied (and in one case, better) after 60 minutes in four of those games.

Now, if someone can convince them that Princeton is a really good team...

Yo, RPI. Princeton won five in a row before last Saturday's clunker in New Haven. That good enough for you?

Thanks for starting the thread. After last week, I will leave the thread starting to anyone else who wants to give it a try.

Re: RPI at Princeton, 2/16/18

I think RPI knows how good Princeton can be after losing to them 6-2 (and being outshot 16-3 in the third period) earlier in the season.
Let’s hope they can forget what happened last Friday and try to win this one for Viktor (assuming that he’s not playing).

Would that be a Viktory? :D

We are in Pennsylvania right now directly across the Delaware River from Princeton and expect to be there as we have for almost 40+ years. Lack of posting directly related to the conversations being carried on. Difficult to add or contribute anything to all these experts who have all the answers. Although our usual seats are the same, we may be floating around Baker as we are bringing a few people and meeting others. BTW, probably should put this in the alumni thread but Bryan and Courtney Tapper just welcomed their first girl (after 3 boys) as Mila-Grace arrived on February 12th. I have hopes that we could have an entire new Tapper generation in RPI hockey starting in the next decade.
