RPI at Harvard 2/18/23

A pessimist like me?

You are certainly correct that most of those who left RPI have not done as well. That is partially due to the teams that they have gone to have better players overall.

True, but the best way to develop, particularly a big guy still learning to adapt to his size, is to play.

5:13 MYD Luke Van Why (9) ASST: Brad McNeil(28) (PP)

At least we added a recruit in the eastern time zone. All the recruits in the AJHL (7) and BCHL (5) start their games late. After one adds 4 recruits in prep schools that don't have live stats of any sort, that means 16 of 21 won't appear doing our games.

Strom off the post and a couple of other golden chances to at least break the shutout. Man do we need more finishers...... Other than Mahshie and maybe Lee, do we have any? Even my favorite guy, Muzzati, would have 2x as many goals if he had a true finisher's touch.

P.S. I expect Muzzati to develop more as a finisher.

We do have a couple who are Finnish. (That sounds like something which George Santos would say. :-D )

The Harvard announcer just claimed that they won again in Cambridge. He should know they play in Allston. There's a very recognizable dividing line known as the Charles River.

5th time we’ve been shutout this year.
At least we had some good news tonight with Union losing and Princeton about to lose (trailing 3-0 with 3 minutes left). It’s gonna come down to the final weekend. Good thing the games are at home.

Well, if he can say he's Jew-ish as in sort of like a Jew, then Finn-ish is sort of like a Finn. Do we need more Finns? I'd take a few like the ones we've had.

Maybe Quinnipiac will say fuck it and rest some of their better players, including Perets.

I actually thought we played fairly well tonight. Harvard is just a better team with some really good players. Didn't finish chances

I was at the game and I agree the first period was good and RPI almost tied it late. It looked like RPI totally hit a wall early in the second; just had no legs and Harvard was in total control. The guys played hard but Didn’t really threaten Harvard again until it was out of reach.
