Yes - but at least you remembered that you forgot.

Part of the problem is that my memory is cluttered with things that are unimportant like "person, woman, man, camera, tv".

The fact that I recall the uniform numbers of RPI's hockey players from over 50 years ago means that there is no room for those playing now. Of course, if I paid for ESPN+, I might know them. :-)

Don't feel bad. I pay for EXPN+ (which has gotten much better since the first couple of weeks) and I still can't remember all the numbers.
We played Harvard tough in Troy, so they won't be taking us for granted tonight. Watson is going to have to steal one for us. No pressure.

Watson was the best player on the ice last night. Dartmouth easily could have been up a few goals after 2. They need to take last night's 3rd period, feed off that, and come out strong. Tonight is all hands on deck effort.

"RPI hockey games are like a box of chocolates"

We often have all hands on deck, but no one in the batter's box. :-D

Three things we have to avoid tonight if we’re going to have a chance to win:
1. Get off to a decent start. Can’t afford to go down a couple of goals early to a team like Harvard.
2. Keep out of the penalty box. The more open ice there is, the more likely they will score.
3. Try to limit the number of shots taken. Dartmouth took over 65 shots last night.

And of course, avoid overtime. We saw what happened the first time we played them.
Do all that and we have a shot at a sweep. A lot to ask, but is possible. LGR!

For what it is worth, RPI is now riding a two-game road winning streak.

And for what it is worth, after the first time they played, the Harvard coach said RPI had a really good team.

The cockeyed optimist in me says it's time for our guys to reconfirm his analysis and extend their road winning streak to three.

RPI women trailing Colgate 1-0 after one period. Man, that Colgate team has some talent! Could be the team to beat, not just in ECAC but nationally (although they will have to solve the Yale goaltending). Rampado faced 20 shots.

RPI women now trailing #3 Colgate 2-1 after two periods. Shots are 42-9 for the Raiders, but Rampado is being Rampado again, and Wagner scored a great SH goal for the Engineers.

The women lost 6-1. SOGs were 65-12.

If I heard correctly during the Senior Night celebration the women had a great day. They announced 10 seniors but several, including Rampado and Wagner will be returning to RPI for grad school next year. Assuming they will also play hockey, that's fantastic news. Hopefully the men (Mahshie?, Walsh?, Klee?, etc.) have similar luck bringing back contributors with remaining eligibility.

SOmewhere I read, probably on the women's thread a while ago, that some were entering the portal (Blitz?, Peterson?). I would think that the two whom you named would be more important.
