RPI at Clarkson, 11/10/2023

Ref barely even touched the clarkson guy on that play, so it was a minor assist. Great play by Tinling. Don't think it makes up for the bad penalty calls (which they aren't calling Clarkson for)

Went back on replay to look at Regula penalty and it was a joke. The Clarkson forward came at Regula as he played the puck in near the wall. Regula reacted to the threat and hit the guy along the boards. The puck was 60 feet away but only a fraction of a second off his stick. If that’s interference both teams should have a half-dozen penalties.

Yup. It wasn't even close. No wonder the RPI bench exploded.

I follow the women's team more closely than the men's. Two questions: 1) why is Payant out; and 2) is the USCHO site as badly messed up on the men's side? Hard to even get score updates for games in progress on the women's side.

Just got home to join in - saw the girls game which they pretty much gave away late in the third period. Deserved a better fate. Simply made too many mistakes late as goalie came out to clear a puck and shot it directly to a Brown player. But they are fun to watch and certainly can control the puck when on the power play and when they have to pull the goalie for the extra attacker near the end as they did today. They pulled Rampado with over 3 minutes left and kept the puck in the offensive zone for 95% of that time.

Let's get this over the finish line! Let's go red!!!!

Over the years the third period up in Potsdam has often been a nightmare with some really questionable officiating and too many Clarkson comebacks to enumerate. A 4th goal for us would really be nice though.

thanks for that, Dr. D. For some reason the Ivy League schools dont provide an international video feed so I didn't see the game. Tough to lose to Brown but it seems that all games this year will be really tight no matter who you are playing.

The refs have apparently been practicing questionable calls for two periods already.
