RPI at Brown, 1-14-23

RPI held the opposition to fewer than 20 shots on goal, which on many occasions could be expected to be good enough to win.

But not on this occasion.

Another great road weekend. One shorthanded goal total against two of the bottom 4 teams in the league.
Now 0-11 on the road. Can’t see them winning a road game all season unless they can pull one off at either Colgate or Dartmouth.

When we score 4 goals, we give up6. When we hold the other team to 2, we score 0.
One of these days, we will put it all together. At least that is my hope.
The line up we put on the ice this weekend was not our best, but the defensive breakdowns should not happen no matter who we put out there.
Its back to the drawing board, and we don't have a lot of time to turn this around.

I thought he looked ok. Made the saves he was supposed to make. He was left out to dry on the first goal and the second goal was the SHG, it was a good shot high glove side.

Agreed except I think the SHG was one he should have saved. From the left circle above the dot. Pretty long range to get beat cleanly from. Regardless, he was better than Watson has been recently
