RPI at Brown, 1-14-23

RPI and Brown are currently tied for eighth and ninth place in the ECAC standings, which means they are both on the cusp between a first-round home game and a first-round road game in the playoffs.

Early in the season, the idea of playing for eighth place wouldn't have seemed especially exciting, but now it looks like that's about the best we can hope for.

Go get 'em, guys.

Looking forward to tonight's game - Brown on an upward trajectory and RPI going in the opposite direction. Usually directions are reversed. I still see Fridgen's teams with the wings flying up and down the ice and a lot of RPI fans in the stands. Sometimes more than Brown fans. Still the RPI fans created a great atmosphere.

If any RPI fans go, you might want to check out the Naragansett Beer Garden at Meehan. Have a 'Gansett and watch a game! Brown alum's family owns Naragansett brewery and worked out a deal with Brown. Was very successful at football games.

Women have been playing a strong third period and get the go ahead goal (Hildner). RPI 1-0 lead with 11 minutes left.

ENG goal for the Engineer women....2-0 over SLU. Wagner blocks a shot, Kaiser pots the goal!

Though WRPI broadcast last night's game, apparently the same is not true tonight. Guess I'll be following on LiveStats.

The Cherepak fans get their wish. He's starting in goal.
