RPI @ Army, Sunday, 1/2/22

I know I said that I would report after I got home from the game, but I was still too frustrated.
The team played a great game for over 50 minutes. They did just about everything right.
When they gave up the first goal, I thought, here we go again. But we responded quickly and got our two goal lead back again.
Unfortunately, Marshall gave up a soft goal and that inflated Army and deflated our team.
The tying goal was scored with a Army player leaning on Marshall, but when I saw the replay, I knew the goal would stand.
I was surprised that we hung on for the win.
As for individual players, Brackett can fly. Unfortunately, no one can keep up with him. It just cancels out his speed.
Adamo is very big, but I thought that he should have been more involved in the play.
Five on Five these teams were a mirror image of each other until that soft goal.
Just very frustrating.
Not a good tie at all.
