I would like to see us taking more shots from the forwards. This is another of those games where the majority of our shots are coming from the Defense.

From the little I saw-about 14 minutes of the period-we seem to have left some of our speed on the plane and are having just a bit of difficulty getting used to the Olympic size ice surface.

I expected the team to be a little slow due to the travel. I did not know that they were going to be on a bigger ice surface. That can't help.
Hopefully they will get their legs and play better in the next two periods.

And in case anyone's wondering about "Scallop", one of my friends from the island in BC mentioned that Qualicum Beach (his hometown) has some fantastic scallops for those that like seafood.
