RPI 2026 Off-Season: Please Pardon Our Appearance As We Upgrade This Area

Today is 7 March 2026. There are 211 days until RPI's next game.


This is based upon 4 October 2026 for the start of next season.

Thanks to a developing Team and a program that now gives us a lot to talk about and a pretty good feeling even after being eliminated. Go Red!!!

I won't get too excited about next season until the portal opens up.
Also with Krawchuk playing so well at the end of the year, I am sure some teams in need of a goalie will be looking his way.
I really don't want to lose him.

Doc I’m about to ream a few gimlets tonight! 😏
I feel good about the direction of the program. Lang needs a few recruiting classes to get his program going. I love how this years team played hard every single shift and gave it their all. Hard to play against with great defensive structure. Lang has laid the blueprint for what to expect from now on. This years team just didn’t have the scoring up front. If you look at other rebuilds like Maine, Dartmouth, Colorado college etc first year the wins were in the single digits. Lang just won 11 games with a team he assembled on the fly lol not bad

We should not forgot also how late in the year coach Lang got started filling slots. This team became more enjoyable to watch game by game and from February on it felt like we had turned back the clock several years. Now if only we can come up with incentives to fill all those empty seats at HFH!!! Might need a few sponsors to it but perhaps if you buy a pair of tickets you could get a $5 discount at one of the pizza joints in town??
 
Anyone know for certain when the portal will open this year? Not sure there is anyone on this squad I would like to see leaving.
 
Great start to the rebuild. What a bunch of hard working players. Trust the process, Eric has got this. Thanks to the young men who played their last game in the Cherry and White. You will be remembered fondly by the RPI faithful.
 
There's currently 17 forwards and 11 defensemen slated to be on the roster next year, and they're not done looking to add skaters. Decent amount of turnover coming our way
