Considering that we still don't have a coach, is it possible that they have an ac on a team that is still playing on the list?

no but according to mike McMahon college hockey news Jason tapp is also a candidate. So we have 4 finalists

So, take the RPI job and then not hold the thing that could quickly reload your team with a bunch of players who have Di experience, some at the school where you just took the job. Makes complete sense. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if AIC said no thank you to putting their name on. Someone check if the ice is still down in the Field House, and if not, Troy just re-opened its facility a couple of miles away in Lansingburgh.

Just remember, if you can hold a hockey stick and not fall on the ice when you skate, you get admitted to Quinnipiac.

I don't think AIC had anything to do with it. I hadn't heard about the rescheduling, but he was planning to have it at the rink in Simsbury where the Junior Rangers play. If he gets the job I would think he'd want to have the portal camp shortly thereafter so he can hand out tickets to Troy as the better players leave the ice.

If he takes the RPI job, why wouldn’t he snag the better AIC guys in the portal before even holding the showcase? The showcase just facilitates portal competition against him, if/when he takes a new job.

Ken Schott is now reporting that Jason Tapp and Chris Brooks from Clarkson are finalists. He majorly effed up his report the first time around. There's no way that they have 5 finalists. Would bet money that either Jewell and/or Doyle isn't a finalist. A list of Lang, Tapp, and Brooks is much more reasonable.

I feel much better about a finalist round of Lang Tapp and Brooks.
