RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

In honor of Reese Keating, today is 27 August 2025. There are 39 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 5 October 2025 for the start of next season.

Interesting article about Bemidji's recruiting class, including two kids who played pro games in the ECHL and AHL and managed to get thru NCAA clearinghouse. One of the kids played 49 games in the ECHL...holy moly. It's the wild west out there people !!

That's insane. The "rules" are so vague now that teams are throwing darts at the wall to see what sticks.

Wonder if Connor McDavid wants to relocate to a college environment in upstate NY??

Did anyone going to the Golf Tournament yesterday? Observations?
I signed up as a single and was paired with three ex players from the Kearns/Abbott era. I am terrible at remembering names and faces so I can't give specific details about present day players who were there. Too many new faces. The players were stationed two or three at a time on the tees and greens. We got to meet them all. All the players, men and women, presented themselves well. I can't comment on their hockey abilities but based on their enthusiasm I am optimistic and can't wait for the puck to drop. I got to talk with coach Lang who was super nice and <brag on> I did get closer to the pin than he did on the "beat the coach" hole <brag off>.

Ralph and maybe others probably know the answer to this.

I wonder how many of the guys on the varsity men's hockey roster will be attending a class at RPI for the first time tomorrow.
