RPI 2025 Off-Season: Help Is On the Way

No, but I'd support editing the current thread title to reflect that we all seem to be feeling a bit more optimistic than than we were before Lang was hired. Not sure if the board allows editing a thread title or if the only way is create a new thread. If it's the latter than I think the current thread is good. After all, we're on a roll - getting more traffic on this board than some of the top teams get during the season. It's great to see.

Surprisingly, it looks like I can. One couldn't in the old software. It isn't a bad idea. Suggestions?

Yes, and since Ryan Sanborn is now a Connecticut recruit, we don't even have a goalie recruit besides for Krawchuk.

I still think Krawchuk will be really good but yeah it's best to combine him with an older player and let them battle it out.

I have a conspiracy theory that we are getting Chase Clark but it's not public yet because he needs to take extra classes to graduate over the summer in order to get into the school. This is what happened with Budy a couple years ago. I'll remove the tinfoil hat now LOL

Chase Clark to canisius. Ethan David from RIT is really the only goalie left worth bringing in. Lang might need to go major junior or find an uncommitted ushl goalie.

There's always Europe as well...all of the coaches have euro connections on different levels.... I recall Benny Barr yanking Filip LIndberg out of Finland very late in the recruiting cycle... as Carvel thought they needed another keeper to push Matt Murray and Lindberg did just that, ultimately grabbing the reigns for their FF run.

Yeah for sure. I was only listing portal options just because I think that's preferred to having 2 freshmen in net
