Nice summation. As it turned out, the call they made did not work for them but as you point out so eloquently, the other options might not have worked out well either. The call came as a surprise to me, I am not sure it was such a surprise to our opponent who seemed to be more prepared for it than i was. In any case, a really exciting season. RPI football now has .500 record in their games if you go back and total all wins and losses to about WWII. They are a -91 in won loss record going back through their entire history to before 1900. This is quite a reverse from my experience with RPI football having been in Troy for much of their historical losing streak of the early to mid 1960's. Unfortunately, the last 25 years of RPI hockey has gone in the opposite direction.
