Seger from Union to Cornell. As a computer engineering major I had slim hopes that he might be considering RPI.
Gee, that showed up on 5/23 on the eLynah forum http://elf.elynah.com/read.php?1,233532,page=2.

Although I went to grad school at Cornell, I'm an RPI guy through and through. If I go to eLynah 3 or 4 times per year that would be a lot. I did watch Cornell's stunning comeback in the lacrosse game yesterday, but they came up just short against a powerful Maryland squad further bolstered by Covid transfers.
Hockey is less than 4 months away and a new President is three weeks away. Can't wait, can you?
As it turns out, her majesty had her minions reach out to the Times-Union requesting they write an article about her illustrious tenure (this is mentioned in the article).....apparently there was concern that she'd depart with little or no public fanfare. It was a phone interview and the reporter was not allowed to ask questions about the free speech matter or other sticky issues on campus. Why any self-respecting journalist would agree to those parameters is beyond me...but then again real journalism is largely dead. Its far easier to write a puff piece with all of the lovely topics that the subject chooses to espouse on !
I'm not bothering to attach a link because there isn't anything note worthy in it. Good riddance I say !!!
