Apparently lee has never seen or used headphones in his life since he was using them like a CIA ear piece the whole time? Lol love it!! As far as the substance of the talk with perry goes it was blah and uninspiring. He did say their working on possibly letting some fans back the last two games. Unbelievably stupid
Ha ha... so true. Add to the fact that the good doctor was UNMASKED during the interview (Perry and Fridge wore masks on air) ...adding to the enjoyment factor. I'm sure Shirley was blowing up his phone. I have ZERO confidence they will allow the unwashed into HFH this season....but I'd be thrilled to be proven wrong. If anything, I suspect they'll perhaps allow the parents of seniors attend, wearing Tyvek suits, Scott airpacks and other relevant safety equipment..... ha ha.
Yes gas masks and air tight astronaut suits required to enter the HFH. Also no bathrooms for anyone in attendance. So don’t drink anything before the game. Have fun!
If you don’t look like your about to be blasted into space don’t even think about going to a RPI game.
Now for a more current approach at a location only several miles from campus.
What is the COVID-19 entry policy?
As of February 11, 2022, masks are no longer required. Patrons who are more comfortable wearing a mask are encouraged to do so. Patrons are not required to show proof of vaccination or negative test result. PLEASE NOTE, individual shows may enforce stricter entry policies. Please visit the individual event page for the show you would like to attend to view the specific policy.
No upcoming individual performer appears to be be enforcing any "stricter entry policies". Not John Mayne, not Journey nor the almost Carlin like (there will never really be another) Sebastian Meniscalco. Take a wild guess they will all outdraw anything on campus or anywhere else for that matter.
Pure speculation, but, after two years any Capital District entertainment venue that wishes to remain relevant in this marketplace better both open their doors immediately (most already have) and, more importantly, leave paying customers the ---- alone just as the largest area entertainment venue has done. Those that just won't follow suit and get it through their thick skulls that people have just plain had enough may very well be laying down their own road to utter irrelevance in the competition for this areas entertainment dollar.
The hope is that with the exception of venues whose CEOs, top administrators, officers, trustees, etc., etc. are stupid, incompetent or even "declining" septuagenarians and octogenarians, most will adjust and adapt quickly and probably eventually recover and survive. Unfortunately, the few that can't or won't may be bye bye. At this time would not wager a whole lot against one particular entertainment venue relevant to posters on this tread ending up among the non survivors.
