RPI 2020 Off-season: Off-season Cancelled

Are you going to start a new thread on Sunday?
If so, how about keeping it simple "In memory of Turk".

That sounds like a good idea. What about Turk181 instead?
BTW, does anyone know what the 181 means? Originally I thought that it was the last three digits of RPI's zip code, but that apparently has changed to 180.

Edit How about "RPI 2020 Off-Season Overtime: In Memory of Turk181"?

My recollection is that when I was a student, I was directed to tell my parents to send letters to Troy, NY 12181. Of course, that was so long ago that parents actually used to send letters to their students away at college.

Your suggestion for the next thread title is fine with me.

I wrote and received letters when I was a freshman. I vaguely remember that we had a phone installed in our dorm room as a soph.

I may start the new thread after posting the zero-days-left post on Saturday.

In honor of Linden Marshall, today is 2 October 2020. There is 1 day until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 3 October 2020 for the start of next season.

Ralph,

Troy PO Boxes have a zip code of 12181. If not sending to a PO Box, it has two zip codes. 12182 is north Troy, commonly referred to Lansingburgh, stretching from 101st St north to the border with Saratoga County. The rest of the city proper is 12180

I am pretty sure that Waite is correct. RPI was still 12181 when I finally left in 1974.
