RPI 2020-21...Up Up!

Reading some other threads, looks like her dad played there and can't argue with a player who has an opportunity to play in such a storied program. I'm sure not playing this season (not even practicing) did not do anyone any favors. Looking at the coaches twitter feed, it looks like there is another pick up for 2021

Looks to be a smart group - if there is an ECAC hockey player only engineering design competition, they would be conference champs. Lets see if any of them can score goals.

I think the goalie looks real good from the stats (and neutral zone agrees for whatever that is worth). She'll probably be the biggest contributor of the group if I had to guess

She looks to be the best of the four goalies on the roster, although I suspect that she and Rampado will split the duties to start the season.

Hopefully, we also have someone who can put the puck in the net consistently, preferably several. Peterson showed the most promise the second half of 19-20. By my calculations we only return a total of 12-9-21 total in the points department. : eek :

It is interesting to contrast our men's and women's teams in this regard.

The number of engineering and STEM majors on the roster is quite impressive. Probably the most in all of the NCAA. It is good to see the players taking advantage of the educational opportunity.

The roster looks to be nearly completely turned over from two years ago so while it looks like no superstars have joined, there are a few high 3 star recruited forwards in the past two classes and if some can gell with Peterson, there might a legit scoring line. In women's hockey, if even a single legit scoring line can be iced, the team is usually fairly competitive. At least this year we will get to find out.
