One would think that any alum willing to drive from NY to RI for a college hockey game would probably already know how to get tickets. Not a big deal, just an oddity. Then again, one would have to wonder why, with all the players coming out of NY these days, they'd do a season opening feature on Charlie Manley, a 3rd or 4th pair defenseman on a team that finished in the bottom tier of the league last year. Hopefully they can see a breakout for Charlie and the team this season that might not be obvious to those of us beaten down by the last decade.

I had the same thought that was weird that they would feature CM when there are a lot of NY hockey players who have produced a lot more. Then again, I am always happy when RPI players are featured.
As to the Providence ad, my actual first thought was that since the same company also produces a New England Hockey Journal perhaps there is a large discount for advertising in both.

Glad to see the rink staff contributing to the enterprise. Can you say too much time on their hands ? This might help explain why the scoreboard had 35-27 shot totals in the first period of the exhibition game ... just one of many examples of the fails normally demonstrated on game nights.

OK-I am totally melted. We had two exactly like that. Bandit and her brother Runt. Gone now for several years but always remembered. We cannot lose now, we have 9 lives!!

Not like they had no time to correct the SOG. It read that way the weekend before for both the women game & the ACHA game.

Exactly my point. Amateur hour. Just a guess, but I'd bet a buck it was the SOG from the last home game last year. I'm not gonna look it up. It'll only add to the failure

I thought the same thing so I looked, it wasn’t. Last mens game was vs Q, SOG were 37-24 Q.
