I was able to see it on the SaveOurUnion Facebook group... it sounds more like they haven't yielded anything. They had difficulty finding a loophole in the student union's Constitution, so they're just going right back to what they were doing before, but like it says in there, they're still going to try to find one. They say they'll "involve" student representatives, but it's just adding them to a list of people to be considered for quorum, the same of which they used to suspend posters a while back; that's how they got around not involving the GM, who has a vote in a decision like that. Nothing is actually changing.

They still will not get a penny from me until all board officers, and a majority of the board trustees, have resigned.

I don't know if you were being serious, but that is Brett Larson (a UMD AC) who tweeted as a joke.

It's the exempt game sponsored by the US Hockey Hall of Fame... but it hasn't been played there for at least the last few years it's been done.

Perhaps the BC deal fell through and it happens the next year.

...and didn't give a date for UNH, either. I'd guess the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, but I don't know for sure.

So it's 2 AHA, 2 ECAC, 4 HEA, 2 Independent, 2 Big Roll-a-D20, and 1 NCHC for a non-con schedule. Too bad we couldn't get WCHA this time around, but still a fairly rigorous schedule. Unlike last year where I thought we'd go 0-5, we might actually have a decent shot at a winning record going into league play this time around.

OK, what is a D20?

Does anyone know the last time that we played two regular season OOC games vs. ECAC schools?

A D20 is a game die, commonly used in Dungeons & Dragons, that has 20 faces. I use it as a joke because the "Big Ten" is hardly ever ten teams anymore, and they can't make up their mind how many they have.

The last time we had two ECAC NC opponents was last year; Harvard in the Shillelagh, and Union at the Mayor's Cup. Intentionally scheduled as such would probably be 2007-08, when the Governor's Cup had 4 ECAC teams.
