Rapaport was not at the Golf Outing but Clary is gone. BTW, Alex has grown to 6’1”. Talked with Tironese. He said his shoulder is great & that he feels much more stronger this time as compared to last year ATT.

I wouldn't expect Rappaport as a possible walk-on to be there, but with Burgess out, he certainly has a chance to make the roster.

Here's what I will go with:
Burgess- 18
Hayhurst- 7
Polino- 26
Reisinger- 17
Samec- 3

Reilly, Manley and Perry to take the available numbers.

Reason: all the others besides Reisinger and Hayhurst have worn the numbers I listed earlier in their careers. Just chose 17 for Max to take Milos' number to keep the number in the European nation and 7 for Hayhurst just because I can't remember the last time RPI didn't have a player wearing it (and 12 and 20 are not available).

Well, I came close on some. Had Burgess and Reisinger backwards. Manley and Perry took their numbers from last year and got Samec's number right. Hayhurst took the average of 12 and 20, Polino did get a higher number, and I totally missed the puck on Reilly.

It's a **** shame about Burgess. Let's hope he comes out 100% from his upcoming surgery and will be good to go for 2017-18. :(

Bad news gang  Burgess’ injury in Ottawa’s Camp was serious. Surgery is forthcoming & he’ll miss the year. He will Red-Shirt.
Hate to lose anyone at any time, but Burgess looked like he could help the offense right away.
Wish him all the best and very speedy recovery.

Funny thing with Hayhurst. When he told me he would wear #16 I said, “your number from Cedar Rapids”, even though I knew he wore #20 there. He said, “no, I wore 20” and I said, "yeah but your cover photo on twitter (https://twitter.com/Hayhurst12 ) has you wearing 16”. He told me on photo day when it was his turn they couldn’t find his sweater. After looking for a while they finally just picked up a sweater & gave it him to wear for the picture.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Two years in a row now where our most promising incoming freshman is lost for the year. Anyone know how Brady Wiffen looked during team practices last year and if he's ready for prime time?

Well, he was co-most-improved player.

Not crazy, just half right. JW is a better defensive defenseman, and has a very good shot. But Praps makes things happen. His puck handling skills in the offensive zone gives the opposition fits, and if our players would move instead of watching him skate around, we would get a lot more scoring opportunities. Either way, I am glad that they are both Engineers. JMO
Agree completely. Praps is a forward as soon as he gains the puck. His close defense is a work in progress for sure. JW's game is different and far better in our end...especially with physical play.

Had a great time at the golf event including beating Seth at closest to the pin....ha. I did miss seeing Phil Hampton drive a ball 300 yds in bare feet though. I enjoyed chatting with Hayhurst, Jesper and Moore at dinner. I'm a big fan of Meir's game - and an even bigger fan of the kid now that I had a chance to chat with him. Aside from being a Leafs fan, Hayhurst seems like a good kid as well....just kidding!

Missed the golf outing this year! Sounds like everyone had a good day. And for golf agnostics, the food is great and conversation even better.

Haven't found a thing about this on the net anywhere. Are there any more details?
