Unfortunately, that's just how it goes for most women's games. Especially exhibitions. There are probably a few fans on the home side.
May have been more on the Townie side thanks to the 10-12 Ottawa fans/family/scratches & of course watching from the last row GRussinko

Shh, I hide there so the cameras can't see me. ;)

There were a fair number of Ottawa supporters, though they were very passive. A few moments of polite clapping here and there. Seemed more appropriate for a theater than a hockey game.

They didn't have much to clap for.

They had scratches? They only were skating three lines and five on defense according to Perry Laskaris.

I wonder if we are recruiting anyone form the team.

You're probably right about the scratches. They only had 14 skaters & 2 goalies.

That's what I meant, but I wrote "father's brother" where I meant "mother's brother". :o He could also have been a father's sister's husband or mother's sister's husband.

His mother was a mudder

In honor of Johnny Rogic and Jenn Godin, today is 23 September 2013. There are 12 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 5 October 2013 for the start of next season.

My selections for preseason All-ECAC teams, etc. Reno is a very good player, I put McCarron slightly ahead of him for the All-Rookie team. I think what will make RPI so good this season is their balanced attack and not needing to rely on one superstar out of the skaters. Kasdorf is the difference maker.

It's "Renssealer" that earns that title. :D

That is about where I would have picked us also. One never rates particularly high on these lists with small classes.

Edit: Harvard wins these things almost every year and seems to finish further down the better that their recruits are viewed as being.

Yale still having first place votes is a joke. I get giving the national champion first place as a courtesy at the end of the season, but there's no way they get ranked #1 at the end of the year without winning and there's no way they're the best in the country now.
Someone voters in these polls always use the fact that they haven't lost yet at the start of the season. I wouldn't be concerned about the early polls. They also may have considered the fact that you are now a student there. :D
