Re: RPI 2013/14 Part II: The HFH is Covered with Frozen Drivel

This past weekend, RPI's Collegiate StarLeague team defeated RIT 3-1 in their Bo5 match. Replays of the 1v1 games are available on YouTube, although there were some issues in the Twitch-to-Youtube conversion trying to get ironed out. RIT had to forfeit the 2v2 match.

The problem is that it is one vote every 24 hours, not one per day, which means that one must remember when they voted yesterday.

Is it really??? That's dumb. In other news, I've spread the good word over at /r/RPI, and Haggs is up 25 votes since I voted earlier.

Let's keep the reminders posting each day with the link to make it easy for those of us who are quite lazy. Personally I am quite torn as both our boys deserve our support.

Yes it really is. just tried to vote, and it told me that I was still within my 24 hr window. I forgot what time I voted yesterday, but I will make sure to check the time when I vote today.

Re: RPI 2013/14 Part II: The HFH is Covered with Frozen Drivel

So should we infer from this that we don't shoot the puck enough, given the number of goals we have had as of late? Just like 2008?

Yes. I have no scientific evidence for this statement. But just from watching the games, we pass up more shots than any team I have ever seen. And Laliberte is the biggest offender. He passes up more shots than he takes.
Every odd man rush we have, the guy with the puck passes, even when he has an open shot. Just crazy.
Eddie O will tell you, it is never a bad idea to take it to the net. JMO

He's gained a couple of spots. :)

Yeah I just tried voting again for Ryan and got the dreaded 'you didn't wait 24 hours' slashing across the knuckles. Hopefully tonight we can start our climb back up the PWR ladder via some help from the teams that are playing.

Good win against Bye last night. Let's go for the sweep tonight.

Hmmm. Can't seem to locate the thread in the Score Updates forum. Is there a box score? I only care about my PtC points.
