...I missed that. RPI football is also that day, vs Castelton at 6pm. The Sunday game is listed for 8AM? Yikes. Ralph, am I correct that the Jr. Bobcats' season ends the 23rd(?) and JW would then get ready for Gunnery's season?

Blog report on a Vernon scrimmage http://vipersdiehardfan.blogspot.com/2011/09/vernon-vipers-blue-white-game-team.html
PEAC is in London Ontario http://www.peac.ca/. It claims to be a school for elite athletes.
Sounds like a place of higher learning. Sorta like the diploma mills that give us such great minds that play bouncy ball.
andOvertime: The Vipers would get the play in deep off the opening draw, second year Viper forward, Darren Nowick battled hard down low along the boards before getting around one Warriors d-man and then went around another Westside player before feeding a wile open Mike Zalewski in the slot who put a nice move on Dustin Nikkel beating the Warrior goaltender up stairs just fourty two seconds into the extra frame.
Mike Zalewski (Overtime Winner) Was by far the Vipers best player. Zalewski looked very strong in the 1st and 3rd periods, getting some real good scoring chances as well as setting up some nice scoring opportunities. Was very dangerous down low.

Zalewski got the winner 42 seconds into overtime, with a series of feints that corkscrewed Dustin Nikkel into the ice, followed by a shot to the top corner. The second-year Viper was set up by Darren Nowick, who combined with Zalewski on a fierce forecheck.
No details yet about Saturday's Vernon game other than they lost 3-2.
“It’s only exhibition, but it was nice to get that goal,” said Zalewski, who added at least 10 pounds of muscle to his 6-foot-3 frame in the offseason.
FWIW, Chris Bradley is now shown as 6'4" tall as opposed to the 6'1" that he was listed as last season. http://ushl.stats.pointstreak.com/playerpage.html?playerid=4254616&seasonid=7561 OTOH, he is still listed as weighing 190 lb.
That's a pretty BIG D-corps for next year although I question PK at 6'4".
