The rumor that I heard from two apparently unconnected sources is that Jim Montgomery finally figured out that he was only allowed two imports and he had three, the others being UVM recruit Girgensons and the goalie Tiechroeb. Quinn was the odd man out. I also heard other rumors besides for Penticton as his destination.

Not sure any of us can believe what we see/hear/read from anyone at this point. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that none of us can ever know. Even traditionally well informed sources might not have the correct story. All I know is the parents have to protect their boy's best interests and it's not easy in the 'shark tank'. I admire the way the Quinns have handled the ups and downs so far and I'm sure they'll let the world know what they decide. I, for one, am sad that Quinn will not be in DBQ...It's gone.
