Lucky for me, I couldn't care less about gambling... but I do enjoy people watching at the tables.

We don't gamble-we just go down to AC for the ambience. We enjoy the time there but leave nothing at the gaming tables. :)

I thought it was on Arctic. However, likely yes, it's the one with the pictures of all the celebrities and Miss America winners. Try to go on off-hours, or there will be a line out the door, even on a weekday in March.

Accepted, although I will probably be playing more poker. Might stay at Harrah's if they are willing to comp me or else one of the chains on RT 30 in Absecon. Still will be available for a beverage and dinner. I sent in a ticket application a month ago but have not heard or had the check cashed. is there a number to call?

Depending upon the price on the craps tables, I would definitely take you up on Poker. I did OK when I was at Bally's playing poker.

Today is 7 August 2010. There are 62 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 8 October for the start of next season.

We better make it to AC-we already have great seats reserved!!(and I do not relish watching other ECAC teams playing without RPI there)
When is it and what web site sells tix?

If (WHEN) we do make it, we're expecting you to have researched a suitable eatery and watering hole(s)...:D

The Hubster and I are in...

I'm in for pregame feedbag at WH. Postgame, I'm not sure that WH is of the caliber suitable for Doc and Babo...we'll need a place that stocks Grey Goose and Ketel One. :D

I'm as comfortable with Dubra as any name brand...pubs are more our thing (it's a little known fact that the most compelling factor in our decision to choose RPI for the B.R.O. was the food and suds at the Knotty! :p ).

I've never been in a casino so this could be interesting...like you I wouldn't gamble but I like to watch people at Grand Central and airports so that's fine with me...

Well, I wouldn't mind showing or even teaching. When we went to the GLI, there were a few people in our group watching me shoot craps. Granted I had only broke even, but was betting enough for people to get a good grasp of the game.

You're on...be careful not to create a monster! I still don't know when the event is!

Ketel is OK but Van Gogh, Chopin, Belvedere and Ultimat would be better (although harder to find).

Come with me and Jenny to the Baccarat table and we can act like James Bond in Dr. No. We tend to either play there or sit at the Roulette tables. There seems to be a certain elegance at those locations(reminds us of Monte Carlo).

Fri/Sat March 18-19, 2011, Boardwalk Hall, Atl. City. The building hasn't held a hockey game since the ECHL left in 2005. Last report was that the roof was leaking for the A10 bouncy ball tourney this spring. Here's hoping the ECAC has enough sense to bring their own ice guru for the event...and maybe a roofing contractor... :p

I'll have to take your word Doc as I'm not much of a vodka connoisseur, but I did recently have a particularly memorable apres-ski in Aspen thanks to a few lovely lady friends who fed me A LOT of that they were calling "water"...which I soon learned was Ketel. Oh, the memories... :D
