Yale up 3-0 and that should do it
BC up 4-2 and that helps a lot also

Re: RPI 2010-2011 V: The "Chase" to AC & Beyond

those who are multi-literate, please forgive me. I am reminded of a piece of folk wisdom from my undergraduate days in cambridge, MA.

At the checkout line in the grocery store, the prominently-displayed sign read "10 items or less". A college student with a full cart began unloading it on the belt. The tired cashier sighed, looked at the sign, looked at the student, looked at the cart, looked at the sign, looked at the cart, looked at the student, then muttered, "Either he's from Harvard and he can't count, or he's from MIT and he can't read."

Does anyone know when the Hobey Baker voting starts again? I thought today, but it doesn't seem to be up. Only show the results of first round.

If things hold as they are-Yale and BC winning. How does that affect our feeling about Cornell/Dartmouth? For some reason i think a Dartmouth win may be better for our chances to lock up a seed(but that seed would be a 15) Just looking for any excuse to root against Cornell which stems from way back in the 60's

[phonetically]

E to the eks, dee why dee eks

e to the why, dee why

secant cosine tangent sine

three point one four one five nine.

Go, Tute!

[symbolically]

e^x dy dx

e^y dy

sec() cos() tan() sin()

3.14159

Go, 'Tute

The way that 'i learned it was similar, but different;

E to the U dU/Dx
E to x, dx
secant cosine tangent sine
three point one four one five nine
square root, cube root
log of Pi
disintegrate them RPI

4-0 Yale over Colgate. I don't think it matters who we should cheer for now that Colgate is out, as long as both Cornell and Dartmouth lose tomorrow. Cornell still has a chance of dropping out as a TUC (I think), which would help immensely.

I will be rooting for Dartmouth, I just don't trust Cornell in a Championship game.

Re: RPI 2010-2011 V: The "Chase" to AC & Beyond

Check your code on the page... it shows RPI most likely seed "if in tournament" is #15, but the chart below shows it's #14.

It's correct? Likely Seeding is based on the Weighted, rather than the unweighted.

EDIT -- didn't see your post.

Re: RPI 2010-2011 V: The "Chase" to AC & Beyond

BC not cooperating taking a bunch of penalties late after going up 5-2. NE pulled their goalie and had an extended 6 on 3 and scored 2 goals so far to get to 5-4

Re: RPI 2010-2011 V: The "Chase" to AC & Beyond

BC held on and won 5-4. Getting set for Cornell/Dartmouth and I finally figured i will root for Dartmouth
