burgie very nearly got it, but was missing a crucial element. Ferris State's win did make them a TUC, adding a 0-1-1 record to Western Michigan's overall TUC record, but the loss by Michigan State also means they are no longer a TUC, which means WMU loses 2 TUC wins. The combination flipped WMU's comparison with the Engineers (and with a whole slew of others as well, they went from a #3 seed to being out of the tournament).

Ouch! So WMU's record vs TUCs went from .6428 (7-3-4) to .5357 (5-4-5)?

Interesting the team travels out to the mid-west two weekends in a row, never would have guessed that. Glad to see the ND game on Fri. Oct. 21st, might have to check out the ND/USC football game the next day. Also noticed on the brochure that they have the Ring of Honor where the band stage used to be. Cant tell if thats an actual structure or the stage on the east end.

Just noticed this... the PDF shows the seating chart. It looks like the Ring of Honor banners are going to be hung on the East side where the band stage used to be. No mention of the ECAC / NCAA banners.

It looks like the band stage is still there. Perhaps the banners are going to be above them.

I wouldn't read that much into it; they took the same seating chart graphic they've been using for years and overlaid some text on it. Whether the stage will reappear or not remains to be seen.

Yeah, they did that, although they could have removed the stage image.

I have been made privy to the promo handout for the freakout. It is a bobble head doll of Ralph Baer. It really is neat because it also talks, if you touch the head it says "I still don't think Laliberte is coming".

They should give out air horns-but thanks to Brown, we have to behave.

It is truly hard to explain for those who were not there years ago-but with all the horns, bells, whistles, air horns, etc-it was deafening. We wore ear plugs at times. The roar was continuous from the opening drop of the puck. The band was phenomenal then also-revving up the noise. There were signs and banners all over the place. It was a madhouse. I know we cannot duplicate the noise any mnore-but I truly hope that atmosphere comes back-not just for the freakout but for every home game. You want to intimidate the opponents with a fan base that shows incredible support for the boys.

Its a long time back but remember we started 0-2-2. SO the last 21 games we are 16-4-1 pretty impressive. and 9-2-1 in our last 12.
York was very impressive last night.
Bailen should be voted team mvp this season for sure. He has been amazing back there.
LETS GO RED make this freakout 1 to remember for the fans and the seniors.

We started 1-1-2; we had beat Bentley.

We are 10 games over .500 and I believe that is the first time in over 10 years-since we had Tapper, Murley and Cavosie up front. What a nice warm feeling this is!!

We only have to win one more game (or get two more ties), and we are guaranteed to have another winning season.

In honor of this past year's World Cup, they're giving out Vuvuzelas. :D

If someone hands me a vuvuzela I know where I'm putting it and they're going to need the jaws of life to get it out.

It's probably more painful sideways, too.
