EXCELLENT faux-article there, RC. And I wouldn't base arguments upon one game either, I'm just saying what I heard through the grapevine. Of course, this came from someone else who I would tell where the other bandwagon is.

Who are these dopes in the grapevine? Sounds like its time for a harvest.

I'd make a whine/wine joke here but I'll let Ralph hit that out of the park.

I refuse to answer the question on account that if I ever decide to visit Cheel again, I need a bail buddy. :P

Yes.

Every time Beman posts, it's comedy gold, BTW. His insistence that his opinions have a true/false value is precious.

Right, again very precious. I picked RPI fourth in the ECAC. Where did you put them, yee of little faith, swine who claims I jumped on the bandwagon?

eh? lil red

RC - I have to admit that I am sometime surprised to the extent that you flare off at some of the true hard core fans, but this post has to be one of the funniest things I have read in a while....well, at least since the 2 "facepalm" posts. Classic !

You must have me confused with someone else. I don't flare off at "true hardcore fans." I flare off at posers.

Are you saying I'm not a "true hardcore fan?" :D

Along those lines, GLM, JFK says he wants to add a banner to the field house.

Nice work Burgie. JFK's answer to the last question says it all:

"..I stand up for each and every one of them and I take responsibility for what happens on and off the ice."

it may be early in the year but this team is developing a bit of an attitude. Haven't noticed that in a while in Troy. Should be a lot of fun around her for the next few years.:)

While I really like what I have seen so far, this team still has a long way to go.
We have had decent starts under Appert before, only to blow up after New Year's day.
We need to continue to play 60 minutes a game and stay away from let downs.
And almost as important, stay out of the penalty box.
The freshmen appear to bring an attitude that we haven't seen in a long time.
I hope they are not tested with a few sub par performances early.

Re: RPI 2009 - 2010 -- RIP Nathan Marsters

I think it's part of the swagger - Kennedy's comments and Merrimam's mask. In the recent past we have heard the team talk about their goals every year, but rarely do we hear much more than "tradition," "Albany," "fans" and whatnot. We haven't really heard talk of titles and banners.

This is a team that is hungry and knows it's going to be good.

Sleep, world.

You might to add "stay healthy" to your caveat list. :D
