Robert Morris 2010-2011 "Colonizing a New World"

Re: Robert Morris 2010-2011 "Colonizing a New World"

Any reason why the Robert Morris coaches walked off the ice after both games at Air Force without shaking hands of the Air Force players or coaches? They got booed off the ice both nights for not shaking hands. Sad to see in college hockey...

Recruting Udate:

Coach Schooley and staff have been shopping. According to Heisenberg's list, here's the committments they have so far.

1. Cody Cartier -Center- Canmore (AJHL) 5'9 170- 30 points in 19 games so far this season. Tallied 55 points in 57 games last season.

2. Scott Jacklin-LW or Center- Trail (BCHL) 5'11 175- 45 points in 26 games this season, had 69 points in 60 games last year.

3. Jeff Jones- RW or Center- Merritt (BCHL) 5'9 175 - 24 points in 24 games this season.

4.David Rigatti -Wing - Texas (NAHL) 6'1 190 - 8 points in 13 games with a +9 this season, 23 points in 58 games last year.

5. Tyson Wilson - Defense-Brockville (CJHL) 6'1 190 - 19 points in 20 games this year with 7 power play goals. Tyson is also representing Canada East in this year's World Jr A Challenge. Zach Hervato had also been selected to play in this tournament as a junior player two years ago.

Welcome to RMU boys.:)

I figured it was time to blow the three months of dust off the thread.

It would appear that one more addition to the 2011 incoming class can be confirmed.

Cody Wydto- Wing -Motor City (NAHL) 5'10 170 - 91 Points (40 G 51 A) in 58 games this year

Yeah, that's about it. We know the entire schedule, we just don't know anything ABOUT the schedule...

What I know for RMU so far:

10/7, 10/8 @ Maverick Stampede
11/25, 11/26 hosting Army
12/9, 1/27 hosting Niagara
128 @ Niagara

I think it should be 2 @ home against Air Force too.

Re: Robert Morris 2010-2011 "Colonizing a New World"

Hey guys...I was just wondering if anyone could tell me anything about F Stefan Salituro? He played one season (2009-10) for Robert Morris, notching 15 points in 25 games. There have been rumours going around that he will be playing this upcoming season with the University of New Brunswick (CIS). Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It seemed like Stefan really came out of nowhere. I don't remember him playing that much to start the season, but he was a regular fixture in the lineup by the end of the season, and contributed. I remember him being a physical forward with net front presence, and good hands, deceptively good skater too. If he's coming there I hope it works well for him as a player and a student.

Re: Robert Morris 2010-2011 "Colonizing a New World"

Had the chance to work with Coach Schooley at USA hockey’s Level 4 this weekend. Great guy and very knowledgeable.
Out of professional courtesy won’t go into the details but sounds like good recruits coming in and excited about upcoming season. I’ll have to follow this thread to see what you are saying to get up to speed on the program.
