I graduated and am living way out in Arizona now, and haven't been able to really follow whats going on this season being so busy.
Can someone give me a quick summary of what's been going on this season? And also, any televised games this year on CBS?

I graduated and am living way out in Arizona now, and haven't been able to really follow whats going on this season being so busy.
Can someone give me a quick summary of what's been going on this season? And also, any televised games this year on CBS?

Congrats on the move. I was out in Tempe for a few years before I couldn't take it anymore.... and moved up to Denver.

Basically, our defense is still questionable. Our goal tending is streaky, including many soft goals. Our offense (until recently) has not been producing. They're starting to actually finish their chances now, despite putting up 35-40 shots per game.

Not sure about the tv schedule, but this awesome guy over on reddit puts up a stream of every home game.

If you ever get the itch to watch some college hockey, check out the ASU v UA rivalry games. The facilities/fans are nothing compared to NCAA teams, but from what I've see they're pretty hard fought games.

While I can't claim to know what's going on inside WW's head. I'm not sure that Rotolo got the start because he looked better in practice. I think it was more because we were playing an OOC game. While Wilson told the radio guys that he "wants to win" all games, in the past he has used OOC games to tinker with line-ups and play the 2nd and 3rd goalies. Wilson hasn't done much tinkering this year, but I think the reason we saw Rotolo is because it was OOC and Wilson wanted to give Ruby a rest. Just a guess though.

The original question I was answering was why Rotolo instead of the other backup. To which I will stand by my answer that he picked Rotolo instead of MacLean because of something he saw in practice.

I do not think that is the case, originally I thought so too. All the previous line charts for games completed list all three goalies in that order as well. I would think Ruby would start tonight.

This is correct, they are listed in numeric order. Radio guys will likely be the first to know whose starting, I'd recommend asking them on Twitter as you will get a faster response there.

He had one assist, not 2. I added that, but you can't go into huge detail on everyone.

Yea, I was just looking up to confirm that he really did have 2 (because my CHN app told me last night that the 4th goal had him as an assist) but box scores from both RIT and SHU websites don't show it.
